Enabling Sugar Email Archiving

Hi

I am using sugar professional edition and trying to enable the sugar Email Archiving service, The steps to enable the service are provided at the following link-

But when I am clicking on the button “Enable Email Archiving”, I am getting following error-
"An error occurred while attempting to communicate with the Email Archiving server, and the service could not be enabled: cURL extensions is required, but has not been enabled.
Please try again or contact SugarCRM Support."

Can anyone please help me for this. Do I need to do something else to activate the service?

Have you confirmed that the cURL PHP extension is enabled within your PHP configuration?

Hello,

Just check in your PHP.ini file that cURL extention is in comment or not?
By default this library is in comment .
So you have to search for “php_curl” in your php.ini file. At this point, you need to uncomment the line by removing the semicolon( at the beginning of the line and need to restart your apache server then you can check the feature of archiving email in SugarCRM.
