Error message when attempting to import Meetings into 6.5.10 CE

We are running 6.3.2 CE and exported Accounts, Leads, Contacts, Meetings etc.

We installed 6.5.10 CE and imported everything except Meetings with out a problem.

When we attempt to import Meetings we get an error message:

Import Errors Occurred

Fatal error: Class 'Link' not found in /var/www/sugarcrm6/data/Link2.php on line 669

All exports and imports were done via the Sugar interface.

Any insights will be greatly appreciated.

Hi David,

We did customizations 6.3.2.
We tried an instance with customizations and another instance without the customizations and they both failed with the same error message.
There were no customizations done to the Meeting Module.

Hello,

Just to check if import works for just 1 row, keep header row and 1 row with data from the export you did from ex version, and try importing that. If you can change some values in it and share the .csv here, someone here can suggest something.

Attached is a txt file. The uploader would not allow the upload in csv format. The file has one row of data with the headers.

At first your txt failed to import. So I converted it into csv. Then on step 2, I changed time to be 11:00pm to just 11:00 and import was successful. Try this way. But still I didnt see the imported line in import list view, but when I searched in list view of Meetings, it was there!!

We finally had to do an export from PHPMyAdmin of meetings, meetings_contacts, meetings_leads, and meetings_users.
And then imported them using PHPMyAdmin.

The meetings display when going on Activities/Meetings.

However they don't come up on the Calendar. The id for each meeting also appears in the tables meetings_leads, and meetings_users records.
And it looks like the system knows the proper owner for the meetings as well.

Any idea why the meetings will not come up on the calendar will be appreciated.

Just to confirm is users ids are taken correctly from ex version.

We solved the problem.
Here is what we did:
1. Did an export from PHPMyAdmin of meetings, meetings_contacts, meetings_leads, and meetings_users.
2. Imported meetings, meetings_contacts, meetings_leads, and meetings_users. (meetings_contacts, meetings_leads, and meetings_users have exactly the same structure in SQL in both 6.3.2 and 6.5.10) Meetings have a slightly different structure which was overcome using some script for the import.
3. We used the Sugar export/import for all the other data.
4. When importing the Users Sugar created a different ID number so Sugar didn't associate the meeting in the calendar with the User in the previous version (the ID number in 6.5.10 is several digits longer than the ID for 6.3.2)
5. Using PHPMyAdmin we did search and replace of the User ID number on the two Meeting tables that had User ID data - replacing the 6.3.2 ID with the 6.5.10 ID.
The Meetings now display in the Calendar.
