    Default Hashing the users password

i am new to Sugar and I am testing the soap transactions.

The question I have is when I create an MD5 hash of the users password it doesn't match what the system has in the database. Are there any other values added to the password or do you just hash the password?

I am using C# and Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 for testing.

    Thanks for any assistance!

It is just a plain unsalted hash of the user's password.

Are you using ascii or unicode strings? It might need to be in ascii for the bytes to work out correctly.
