I'm looking for some advice on modelling.
We're an Event Security company. We staff basketball/hockey/lacrosse games etc..
We currently have an old custom .asp solution and were wondering if SugarCRM might be better.

Ignoring the obvious CRM aspects, does anyone have recommendations on how to model the following.

1. Events are really Projects eg. a bball game
2. A Project has at least 1 Job eg. Parking, Event staffing etc..
3. Each Job has Shifts and can repeat
4. Each Shift has 3 variations 1. The scheduled 2. what was worked 3. what was invoiced.

I've been thinking our entities map to SugarCRM ones like this :-
Projects == Projects
Jobs == Activities
Shifts == Tasks

Anyone know if I'm on the right track ?
