    Default How to change style for a field of custom module...

    I desperately want to change style of field displayed in editview of a custom module.
    Field type is multiselect and I want to fix its width. I tried cols => 50 but changes didn't take effect.
    I have also done repair and build.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    'name' => 'mm_templates',
    'studio' => 'visible',
    'label' => 'LBL_MM_TEMPLATES',
    'displayParams' =>
    'cols' => 50,

    Any idea about overriding general layout settings for my custom module??

    I tried to follow this link but couldnot...

    Hi Dodo,

    I know one way to do this would be to load some custom CSS in by overriding the view class. This would obviously give you that control, but might be overkill for what you're looking to do.

    Hi, Dodo
    You can add a JQuery to increase the width of the enum field.
    You need to add it in view.edit.php of the module you want to add to.
    The Code-
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function(){
    $("#<FIELD_NAME>").width(<WIDTH_IN_NUMERIC>);
    }
    </script>
