How to hide subpanels

I am using SugarCRM5.0.0a, i want to hide subpanels.
Could u please tell me how can i hide subpanels.

To hide the bugs subpanel under Accounts

Create a file custom/Extension/modules/Accounts/Ext/Layoutdefs/hide.php

unset($layout_defs['Accounts']['subpanel_setup']['bugs']);

Then run a quick repair

Thanks ,But still there is a blank Tab, how to remove that?

Hi Mubi,

if you do not want to use a module completely just go to Configure Tabs and Drag and drop the module to hide zone and save. it should not visible as Tab as well as SubPanel
