    Default Logging in & Moderation

    hi

    I have problems with loggin in and posting on the sugarcrm forums
    in the past i clecked on login link - then forwarded to sugarcrm.com login page -> entered username and password and then went back to forum again - so i was logged in on forums and on sugarcrm.com

    Now i can only log in through reply with quote and by entering username and password there -> but i can't logout after that
    AND my posts under moderation and it takes a lot of time before real posting

    It is really not interesting to post answers to questions and see them next day or later
    and it lasts for 2 month i think

    What is the way to fix it? Or when it will be fixed?

    I am now having the same issue as you described - and thank you for the work-around that does let me login; I never thought of that until you mentioned it

    Did you ever figure out what the login/logout problem was?

    I have tried on Firefox and ie and same issue. The only way to login is via Reply and I cannot logout (although the timeout does eventually kick in)

    Same problem here, I am moderated on and off since this past fall, and now I can't log into the support portal

    Me too. I was unable to login via the login link at top of page. had to go to the CRM Software & Online Customer Relationship Management | SugarCRM.com English (Americas) page and login there then come back to the forums. Seem funky....

    For anyone having issues logging into the forums, please go to sugarcrm.com first and login there (upper right corner). After successful login from sugarcrm.com, then come here (forums.sugarcrm.com). If you are not able to login, please use the "Forgot Your Password" link.

    Daniel,

    Is this login methodology (going to sugarcrm.com first, then from there coming to forums.sugarcrm.com) intended to be the way we are supposed to login from now on?

    If so, I'd ask that you have your team reconsider.

    The sugarcrm.com site is a promotional = sales vehicle. I do not want to have to go there (when it does not add value to the reason I am going to the forums) and then traverse from there to the forums site. In addition to the increased steps it would require each time, I really don't want to get a sales pitch every time I try to use the forums.

    If you poll the other users, I expect you'll find a similar response.

    Or hit the "Reply with Quote" link below any post. This prompts you to log in and it will actually work. I'm using this method anytime the sugarcrm.com login doesn't work, which is several times a day.

    It works but you will not be able to logout. You will be "logged out" only when session is expired.
