make popup alert for the already missed schedule meeting

Hi Pals,
I am using SuagarCE v 6.5.4 . I need a requirement in which a user must saw his scheduled meeting popup which already missed due to lack of presence on the reminder time.
I can identify the Query for same as in include/javascript/jsAlerts.php and modify as I saw in fig below:


I know some more logic there need to show, but make that query change not any use . do any one advice what change I need to make .

Should just need to be the date_start checks...
