popup values are not storing into DB & Not displaying in DetailView

Hi I am using SUGARCRM5.2--- i hve a field " Employee Id" which has a data-type of " relate " , and by clicking on the popup the default value is coming as " EmployeeName " and i used some code to enter the selected " Employee Id " and finally i sucseeded . Now the values are not displaying in the detailvew or in database .
By pressing on the save button it's displaying an error " No match for field: Employee Id :" . kindly rectify my error it as an URGENT task for me
