Default Prevent creation of new task if in role

In community edition, latest, is there a way to prevent a specific role from creating a new record? They need to be able to edit a created record, but not create a new one. I am specifically looking to block a specific role from creating new tasks.

You can do that by following some of our blog.

    1) Urdhva Tech | SugarCRM Customization and Development: Readonly field conditionally > Follow until how to check roles.
    2) Urdhva Tech | SugarCRM Customization and Development: Show message after redirection > Redirect user in case role matched.

    Hope that helps.
