    Default Saving Email configurations permanently

    Hi All,
I have a problem in storing the Email settings permanently.
    My problem is that:
I have configured my email settings and the out going emails are being sent.
But when every time the cache is deleted my email configurations are also been deleted and the email is not being sent.

This creating a huge problem as i have to configure the Email setting every time the cache is deleted.
Can anyone help me in finding a solution for this?

    Thanks.

you are not suppose to delete the cache folder manually. you can rather use, admin > repair > quick repair and rebuild.

even if you want to delete the cache, dont delete the subfolder blowfish.
    Best Regards

even if you want to delete the cache, dont delete the subfolder blowfish.
The cache directory contains several things that are very important for the system and should never been removed. E.g. cache/upload contains all the files uploaded to Sugar. If you delete this you'll miss all the documents attached to your contacts, accounts, etc.

More information on this can be found here: The SugarCRM cache directory demystified - Lone Wolves - Web, game, and open source development

    For cache/blowfish it says:
This directory stores the blowfish encryption keys that SugarCRM uses to encrypt and decrypt your POP3, SMTP and IMAP passwords. If you remove them, SugarCRM can’t decrypt the passwords anymore and you will need to re‐enter them.
