Is there any way to deter mine whether on not a specific entry is searched?
I mean the Leads section has a field "Department" and it is not searched. I was wondering if there is a way to change it.
Also i am using sugarCRM version 5.2.0d, and i cant find the Advanced Search feature, is this feature just non existant for that version, or is there summat wrong with my version.

Yes, advanced search should be there.

Also, you don't have to go to the code to add fields for the Search forms. Simply log in as an administrator, navigate to Studio, select the Leads module, then Layouts, then Search and finally Advanced Search. You can move fields from the "hidden" column to the Default column in the layout editor, then click the "Save & Deploy" button to make your changes show up in the system. Changes made through Studio are upgrade safe, too.

Is there a way of making the general search look at a field? I mean the search at the top right of the screen?
