sugarCRM New Module Creation

Hi All,

I want to develop the new module with the existing code. I would like to create a new modules namely quote and product. i have downloaded the zip files from the below URL for new modules.

SugarCRM implementation, software development, support, hosting and training.

namely, " Advanced open sales"


I want to know, shall i use this code for my further purpose and is this helpful?.


And one more thing is, when i put the new files into the existing files, what are all the folders will affect?

Have you tried building the module through Module Builder (in admin) and then just making whatever customizations you need through Studio and writing custom code? Unless you're trying to do do something HIGHLY customized, why not let Module Builder just build the base code / integration for you?

Actually i need to analyze and understand the coding formats. I want to know how can i understand the flow of code and Is there any debugger is available ?..

I'm a HUGE fan of the Netbeans IDE (Welcome to NetBeans) which has a built in debugger called XDebug. I've found this to be MUCH easier than other IDE's such as Eclipse. You'll find many posts online on how to configure Netbeans with SugarCRM. Finally, I use the "MAMP" (MAMP: Mac, Apache, MySQL, PHP) to run Sugar locally on my dev machine, which is where I do all my pre-production coding / debugging.

It'll be a bit of a process to configure the first time, but it's solid moving forward.
