The first 6.2.0 Beta version of Sugar Community Edition is now available to test.

The 6.2.0 Beta release of Sugar Edition can be downloaded from the Sugar project on SugarForge.

Note: Upgrade files will not be provided from the Beta releases to later releases. We recommend testing on a system separate from your production system, such as development system.

Over 190 submitted bugs have been addressed in Sugar 6.2.0 Beta, across all three editions (Community, Professional and Enterprise). The areas in which the most bugs were fixed are Studio, Sugar Logic, Administration and Roles. The bugs addressed in Sugar 6.2.0 Beta can be found in the Bug Tracker. Within the Search tab, select "6.2.0-Beta1" for the Fixed in Release field. The bugs that have been addressed have the Resolution "Fixed".

If you encounter any issues while running Sugar 6.2.0 Beta, please let us know by submitting a bug in the Bug Tracker. Be sure to designate "6.2.0-Beta1" in the "Found in Release" field.

The current timeline for Sugar 6.2.0 is as follows:

• Weekly Betas - started mid-March 2011
• Bi-Weekly Release Candidates - start mid-to-late April 2011
