Sugar Suite 2.5.1 available for download

Sugar Suite v2.5.1 is now available for download. This minor release of Sugar Suite includes mostly bug fixes to v2.5 but also does introduce new outbound email functionality and enhanced control over user access to modules.

You will now find a new "Mail" tab that allows your Sugar users to send out emails from Sugar. Each user will need to configure his/her SMTP settings in the "My Account" screen.

Also, users and administrators have more granular control over which module tabs and subpanels are displayed for each user.

If you search Upgrade Instructions for Script and DB, those are in the Folder DB_Upgrade. Filename is Upgrade_Steps_2.5-2.5.1_pro.txt

Actually that's where Pro users will find the upgrade instructions. Open Source upgrade instructions and SQL upgrade scripts are located at:

Please add the following to the upgrade SQL, as the Mambo portal cannot work without it:

INSERT INTO config (category, name, value) VALUES ('portal', 'on', '0')
