Better search on forums

Hi,

The search on the forums have one VERY big flaw. It does not actually search correctly on multiple words.
Even the advanced search does not do this correctly.

Let me give an example - try searching on "empty tab" in title only - this returns 98 results NOT ONE OF WHICH has the word tab in the title.

This will make it very difficult for users to find previous posts and just lead to the same questions being asked again instead of being answered from an earlier thread.

Is there any way a proper AND search can be added to the forums?

I agree which is why I always just go to google and do a search on "site:sugarcrm.com/forums empty tab"

i also noticed, the forums gives different result pages when you are logged in and not.
when i login in the forums, and searched a 2-word topic, it gives 20 result pages.
but when i'm not logged in, the same 2-word will only give 5 result pages.

That's because when you're logged in, you may have access to more forums than someone who is not logged in. Customers have access to the Customer forums, Partners have access to Partner forums, etc.
