    Default Username and Status

    Hi,

is there any way I can have my username changed to something like 'mvnrsa'? The gti in the name referred to a specific customer I set the support user up fro initially but would prefer not to have it in my forums user now that I am more active in the forums.

And can you explain how the status "Senior Member" etc. is calculated/set?

    Thank you

there is not way in the User area to change your username. If you really want to change it, i would try to contact someone at Sugar and see if they can change it on the back end.

And can you explain how the status "Senior Member" etc. is calculated/set
These titles are based on the # of postings you make. Senior Member refers to a Senior Member at SugarCRM (along with Sugar Team member). I think all other non-Sugar titles are auto updated based on the number of posts you make.

SugarCane is correct regarding the titles. vBulletin (the software used to manage this site) automatically changes the titles based on the number of posts a user has. The only titles that are "hard coded" are the Sugar Team Member titles, reserved for Sugar employees.

I don't think I can change your user name without breaking a few things (when you create a forum user name, you also create a username that's used in the sugarcrm.com site)... the easiest thing to do would be to create a new user with the name you want to use. Everything will fall into place automatically.
