Call for performance-boosting tips and tricks

Hey y'all, we have an upcoming podcast in mind to supplement Susie's Performance Tips podcast originally produced a month or so back. The goal is to enumerate the easy-to-do stuff rather as opposed to tweaking Apache parameters and such.

Do you have any additional cool tips and tricks you use to squeeze the most performance out of Sugar in your environment?

Here are a couple I can think of:

** Use FasterFox add-on to Firefox
** Remove the total count in ListViews
** Don't automatically repeat previous query upon entry to the ListView

The last two I borrowed from Jacob's CTO Series forum/blog.

One I found to have a significant impact is disabling script scanning on your AV, but of course, that is a bit of a pandora's box, as it exposes one to other threats.
