Hi All
Does the forum has any Rules? If yes, please point me to the rules page.
One spammer guy has posted several spam posts today and he didn't stop posting till now. Who is responsible for stopping these type of guys?

The Moderators and Administrators.

Click on triangle at the right top corner of the post to report as spam.

Thanks Andre. Lot of threads got deleted. Good job. Is there any rules/code of conduct exists for forum?
Regarding that particular spammer "guy", it was likely an automated program rather than a "guy". As soon as I saw the posts this morning I banned the user and deleted the posts, all 108 of them.
Spammers have always been a problem with us (and any forum). Since we upgraded our software, we have better tools to get rid of posts, but it's still a challenge. Most of the time, the spammer (or spam software) posts just one post before getting stopped. Clicking on that "notify" button when you see a spam post really helps, as the volume of posts are so large now that the moderators/admins can't watch everything.
Regarding your question about the rules, when you sign up for a username I believe there's a paragraph about what you can and cannot do. Of course, to an automated bot or a scumbag spammer, that's irrelevant!

Thanks susie. But I couldn't able find a Terms/code of conduct link in the create account page for forum. Could you please provide me the link to that page?

The Terms link is at the bottom of this (and every) page on the forums:

Thanks susie. But, it seems to be a terms for the use of SugarCRM and not for use of FORUM
No replies. So i am assuming there is no rules/code of conduct available for forum members
Sorry for jumping in but something very strange just happened to me as far as rules of conduct.
My last post was this classified
While checking on replies on my classified I noticed that there was some spammers posting all kinds of junk for sale that was totally unrelated to anything in this forum. I went and reported 2-3 posts as spam thinking I was helping the community.
Now today I came back to check on my classified again and it says I was banned.
Can someone explain to me why I was banned??? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
My original account was WEB11
crmsiva, the terms of use are for use of the forum, along with the other web properties of SugarCRM.
There are sections on that page that cover forum use.
