Hey everybody, I thought I'd pass along a portion of the recent SugarBUZZ which contains the following note from our CEO, John Roberts.


A Message From the CEO

The holiday season is a time to reflect on the passing year and look forward to the next. At SugarCRM, we have much to be grateful this holiday season thanks to the support of our community and our customers.

In 2006, SugarCRM continued to grow - increasing to over 1,000 commercial customers and surpassing 1,000,000 downloads of Sugar Open Source. There are now over 300 complements and extensions at SugarForge.org and SugarExchange.com, the application exchange we launched earlier this year. Sugar has now been translated into over 50 languages, reflecting the global nature of our users and community.

We released version Sugar 4.5 which features the most customizable user interface in the CRM market, international support, enhanced sales forecasting and better data quality controls. We finished the year by gathering industry leaders and customers for a CRM Acceleration Event in San Francisco, followed by the upcoming release of Sugar 4.5.1. I think you will like what you see.

Ultimately, our success will be based on your success. SugarCRM is about helping our customers create more customers. This goal will guide us in the coming year and beyond, as we strive to build best-in-class CRM that is available to companies of all sizes.
