My last post was 992. So this makes this post 993. But I wasn't sure if I should say that I'm 8 posts away from 1000, or 7.

1000 posts will be major milestone. I guess you can not leave your desk today before you reach it?

If you are in a hurry, you can post to this thread single line posts like:

Post #4: This is post nbr 994, 6 to go

and so on, but that would be cheating, right?

The last time I tried this, instead of being referred to as "cheating", Malcolm (malcolmh) coined a new term for it: "dreisching".

I think that was back at the 500-post mark.

So I'm a little hesitant to try that again. To be so publicly flogged is no fun!!
