    Default Organizing the forum?

I know when you visit a new forum some people could get outright nasty if you post "wrong." And then there other times where there are so many posts about the same thing again and again, it gets pretty much impossible to find and answer or help.

I am wondering, and I'm fairly new here, maybe a Hero could make the suggestion to the moderators where they could start another section that deals specifically with the module quesitons.

So if I am looking for something exactly related to the CE Teams, all posts would be there or moved there. And then same for anything with leadcapture or webtoleadcapture, Zend portal ...something like that. You could start with the more prominent and active threads then add more as they see fit. I know alot of the developers go have their own forums, but I can't recall even the last one I was at.

Anyways, I posted this in hopes of maybe someone getting an idea for improving the use of the fourms and getting less aggravated with post after post of the same thing and with no help, and understandable so. I am about to post someting myself, after searching for about 60 minutes sifting through posts and am in fear of the dreaded "no replies."

I am willing to help get with getting this started.

Thank you and as always I am touched by the open source community!

Personally, I feel that module questions should go to the forum of that project in SugarForge instead of on here. Some developers don't like using that forum since it's not linked with this forum and people can't as easily find similar questions on the project forums. Perhaps that issue could be resolved by having this forum's search also search and return results from project forums.

Good point on the SugarCRM.com search incorporating SugarForge.org content as well.
Sugar Developer Zone - developer resources | Sugar University - user and admin training
Sugar Docs - user and admin documentation |
Sugar Bug Tracker - Enter or view bugs
SugarForge- open source modules, themes, lang packs | SugarExchange - commercial extensions

Yes, those solutions would be great and surely work for me - I think alot of people who are asking so many of the same questions are also new and don't think or realize there are other support forums relating to those modules.

Again, sifting through so many posts and no answers because they have been asked and answered about a hundred times, you know. And then you find an answer and they are not even for your version - and with the two new and newest Sugar versions out - OMG it's jungle out there!
