So which theme do you like best?

Sugar invests quite a lot of effort and, more to the point, emotional investment in its themes. As you walk the halls of the Sugar Cupertino offices you'll see all kinds of themes on display. It seems our choice of themes is as varied as our workforce.

My personal favorite is White Sands. And you know what I like best about White Sands? The name. I'm quite proud of that fact that we managed to come up with this gem on virtually the last day of the 4.2 (?) release.

Ah yes, White Sands. A fitting name for clarity, cleanliness, and purity. Just like the theme itself.

The second favorite theme here in Sugarland is probably Final Frontier. I've seen a few Awesome 80's, too. Oddly, the Golden Gate theme is not often seen in these parts.

So, what is your favorite theme? And why?

Yes, pieter, Paradise was a favorite of mine at one time, too. For the same reason as you. It can be distracting, though!

Hi! First time poster here.

I like White Sands theme as well. But it has a few bugs in it. Personally I've discovered 2 major ones:

1. System Settings screen - the footer has to be taken one level up in the tables
2. Configure Log Settings screen - the footer is screwed up completelly

I put my hands on SugarCRM a couple weeks back to help a friend of mine to customize it for his needs and have chosen White Sands theme to customize. Things are going fine so far. I even may publish the result when it's done :-)

Also, is there any documentation on the themes? There is planty of comments in the files as well as other themes to look at but I'd still love to have a structured tutorial.

Hi Smoked Caramel, not hijacking the thread at all. I'll classify your post as "Muttering".

You should enter a bug regarding the theme at bugs.sugarcrm.com.

As for doco, I'll check but I don't think there's any at the moment. We have a Wiki due shortly (end of this month is current target). If there's no current doco I hope that you or possibly others can add to it.

Clean, with mouse over effects limiting the amount of clutter on the screen. With different color settings available with a single click. Ahh yes.

And the name!

Can you feel it melting in your mouth like cotton candy? Very sensual.

Sugar Lite is another interesting theme. Very compact.
