Thank you SugarCRM (#500)

To all in the Sugar Community,

Thank you. For my 500th post, I would like to express my gratitude to the founders - John, Jacob and Clint - for their vision and determination in making SugarCRM the amazing application that it is today, transforming the way so many companies worldwide do business.

Open source still amazes me, especially SugarCRM. While the Pro and Enterprise versions add incredible value for many, many organizations, anyone can download and deploy the incredibly complete, robust and extensible Community Edition, for FREE. Miraculously, this approach has allowed SugarCRM to become a multi-million dollar company and has seeded and nourished an entire eco-system of successful companies providing related products and services, including my own.

Andre Flandoli and I founded Lampada in January 2005, specifically to bring SugarCRM to the Brazilian market. In the 150+ projects we've done since then, the software's practicality and extensibility have allowed us to deliver enterprise-class solutions quickly and economically to customers around the world.

Of course, it is our great team, led by Andre Lopes, that has extended, customized and successfully deployed SugarCRM to our customers' users. Along the way, they have also created the various SugarForge projects released by Lampada Global to the Sugar Community. They are the Sugar Heroes. I am just grateful to work with such a great team and to be part of such a great community.

When i was newbie to sugar, i learned a lot from your posts. Even one of my colleague is a big fan of you

. He used to praise you a lot for your posts. You are a ladder to many sugar guys like me. Thank you man.
