Default I want to write a plug-in/extension. Where do I start?

I've exhausted my patience trying to find the right place to get examples, tutorials, and documentation regarding the development of plug-ins for Sugar. Could someone please direct me to the proper location? Many thanks!

I experience the same problem. We have already created a web application using the SOAP API, and I just need an easy way to create some kind of install package that can be downloaded. This package should basically just embed a URL somewhere in SugarCRM.

A great place to start is on our developers.sugarcrm.com site. We gather various content from the community and our engineers there as well as post our developer guide.

Here is an overview of our module framework:

    http://developers.sugarcrm.com/docs/...205.2.1.9.html

Our extension framework allows you to add/change functionality in a Sugar system in a upgrade safe manner.., dev guide section is here:

    http://developers.sugarcrm.com/docs/...05.2.1.11.html

When you think you are ready with your add-on and decide to distribute to the community you can bundle your module/files/strings/etc up into a module loadable package that is uploaded and installed via our Module Loader in the Studio. Dev guide overview for module loader details here:

    http://developers.sugarcrm.com/docs/...05.2.1.46.html
