Relate and Auto populate fields

hi

i'm trying to have a specific field data displayed on the custom field automatically when i select record name where the field is. e.g i have created a custom field in my contacts module and i want a "tel no" on accounts module to be auto populated when i select the related account name from the contacts edit view.

any help...?

One of the module that is available is EnhancedStudio which provides the ability to have a new data type called "Code" in Studio. you can define the column as "Code" then write php code to get the functionality you need.
